10-12-15
Well this week was full of running all over. First off on Monday we left Blue Fields at 3 to go to Juigalpa and then at 3 in the morning the following day we went into Managua for a multi-zone. It was chill. It was good. We learned a bunch and did a lot of little classes and they gave us lunch and then we got back in busses and headed out. We didn’t get to Juigalpa until like 10. We then left Juigalpa at 4 in the morning to Rama then from Rama in the panga(Boat) to Blue Fields. We got here around 12 or 12:30 so it was a busy beginning to the week getting back on Wednesday.
Then President Russell was coming here on Saturday and Sunday because he is like the stake president for the branches. He came out here to do interviews for missions and temple recommends and to do branch conference. He didn’t work with us or anything but he brought the AP’s along so we worked with them. It was all chill but we had to stay up on Friday night until 3 cleaning the house. It has been a tiring week. Our house got approved so we got a brownie, some peanut M&Ms, and a granola bar from Sister Russell so that was good.
This weekend we were running trying to figure out papers for a wedding and we were going to marry them in a government place where they marry for free but they couldn’t do it super far away so we had to go find a lawyer and all. It was a lot of running but we got it done and got them married on Saturday. It is a couple who the wife is a member but her husband isn’t so we married them and he got baptized. We also had another baptism of a lady named Cindy. So we had 2 baptisms. On Sunday we worked hard and got 18 investigators in church. That was pretty good. Sunday we did a lot of contacting and it was good. God prompted us to where we needed to go and we were able to find a really positive lady and her daughter. Her husband works on a fishing boat but we talked with her about going to church and getting married with her husband and getting baptized and she was really excited about all of it. She’ll be baptized I think. The hard part will be that her husband is only home once a month and we have to marry them but she is cool. The work here is doing good. We are working hard. The church is true. I’m really tired but the mission is the best.
Peace and Love,
Z
