Well Rob I think your right the first day in the mtc was like two years. I wasn’t like sad but it was just way long but ever since Sunday everything has just been flying. I’ve been having tons of fun. The language is going good. I’m learning a lot and studying. I’m getting to a point where for lessons I can just write them out for the most part and don’t have to use so many phrases out of the book. On Monday the native companionship left. Before they left we talked with them a ton and I was thinking about how the first day we tried to talk to them and none of us could say anything but how are you doing and we are from America haha. But the last week or so we would talk to them a ton about sports and music and just what ever and so we are all getting a ton better at Spanish.
We have pretty good food here for the most part. I don’t really know what to talk about. We do pretty much the same thing every day, wake up eat, go study in the class. We have two way cool teachers Trijo and Vialobos. They’re cool dudes and pretty funny. We then eat lunch, study more and teach our investigator which is either our teacher Lira or Vialobos. Then we eat dinner go to tall which is a terrible computer program but it’s actually pretty helpful for learning the language. Then we go back to class to study. Our teacher hermana Lira teaches us more and then we do more studding till 9:30, sing a hymn and go to bed. It’s good and we have gym after lunch too which is fun. We play volleyball, ping pong some basket ball but lately we have been playing tennis and that’s been way fun. I’m terrible at it but it’s a good time. We commentate it like it was a really tennis match in like English accents haha. It’s way funny. We had a singles tournament thing and I won one day and took 2nd the next. It’s been fun, but the best part is walking the tennis ne. It’s like slack lining and is fun. I can drop knee on it and stuff its fun. Well that’s really all I go. I’ll try and figure out more to write next time.
Peace and love,
