So this week was good times and so crazy fast. Its nuts! Today is P-day. It feels like the last P-day was yesterday. Time goes by was fast and we never have enough time to get everything done with all of our investigators. Right now we have some really super cool investigators so I’m way stoked to see the work progress. Our baptism this week fell through for right now, which stunk. The Grandma is super Evangelical and they live on her land. She gets mad if we visit so we always teach in a member’s house. The parents are sealed and the Dad is a return missionary, but we couldn’t get a hold of them. The Mom just was like, “he isn’t going to get baptized.” So we don’t know what’s going on with all that. Hopefully we can figure it out because he is super positive and was stoked to get baptized. But the Mom is not all that smart and grumpy with God or something. She was excited for his baptism until she wasn’t the day of his baptism. But we’ll figure it out.
Our other baptism confirmed and we got some super cool investigators in church so we were stoked. This area is dope because the members help so much. We always have more lessons with members at the end of the week than without members, which is really good and really crazy. In my old area I was lucky if I had like 3 in a week with members but this last week we had 27 with members. Way dope so it’s a huge help. We are always working with members.
Nicaragua has broke me. The other night it hit 80 degrees at night and I slept in my P-day clothes with 2 sheets because I was cold. I couldn’t turn off my fan or there are tons of mosquitoes. So that’s funny, but I’m going to freeze to death at home.
So P-day today was chill so I’ll write about today too cause we did a lot. So this morning we woke up and did mission stuff. Yeah we studied then we had an appointment with an investigator because he only has time on Monday, but he wasn’t there, rats! But on the way back the cops had arrested some drug dealer and it was way funny cause the Nicaraguan SWAT team was there, but instead of a truck they all just have a dirt bike. So they are all in their SWAT gear and bullet proof vests and all. So there is just like ten of them all on their little dirt bikes, way funny!
Then we went to the church to make pancakes with our district and as soon as we got there the ZLs call and were like “ohh you guys have chior practice right now so get on a bus to Managua.” So we left pancakes went to Managua. Finally got there and there was no one and they were like, “ohh yeah that ended two hours ago.” So we call the ZLs and apparently the office had called them and was just like “Hey send Sandino 1 to the practice in Managua right now!” But the practice was already half over when the ZLs called us and then we didn’t make it to Managua for like another hour and a half or so. So it was way dump that they sent us out there for no reason, but it was chill. So we went and ate McDonalds so it was chill but I love ya tons
Peace and Love, Z
