What up family? This week was chill. We had the Christmas multi zone on Tuesday. So Monday at 3 we got on the boat and headed to Juigalpa. The Christmas multi zone was good. They had some good talks and then they gave us lunch. It was sweet. It was all fancy and catered so we got good food; a salad, and then some rice and meat and potatoes and some other stuff. It was really good. Then we got seconds and last a nice piece of cheese cake. It was super good.
We then played sports and all felt like throwing up. The best game was broom hockey. It was sweet. We went super hard. I was decent with the broom so I didn’t break it but just in one game 7 brooms got broke. There were 4 stations so when it was all said and done there was a huge stack of broken brooms. My team was chill. Me and my companion and one other Elder left it all out on the field but the rest were a little bit of a struggle so we lost every game but we had the most fun so that’s what counts. It was all good because had we won the games we would have been prideful and as Nephi said, “those that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts shall be thrust down to hell.” Close quote. So I guess it’s actually safer to be on the loosing team.
The activity was good and then they gave every apartment a microwave that is sweet. That makes finding food so much easier. And then they gave us peanut butter and jelly and a personalized pen so it was all pretty cool.
Oh and since we met the goal of 2060 baptisms for the year as a mission we are going to San Juan Del Sur on the 13th of January so that is going to be a crazy long trip. We were up above 2100 with baptisms and we still had 1 more week to add on so we’ll see what the final numbers is.
Christmas was good. I had saved the food I had brought with me for the plane all of this time. Last Christmas I ate half of it and so this Christmas I got a Cliff bar, some licorice, some power gels, and some Cracker Jacks Mix so I was pretty stoked. It was also super cool to talk to you guys and see everyone doing good. I’m jealous of the beards. I’m not quite there but who knows maybe over the next 5 months I’ll be able to grow a beard too.
Well, Peace and Love,
Z
