So this week was chill. Really nothing out of the ordinary. We almost had to go to zone meeting in Juigalpa but then we didn’t, so that was sweet because that is a long trip.
We are trying to move because this house is having some age related problems. All the pipes leak and some are spraying. It’s an all concrete house so it doesn’t do anything but still it’s annoying. It is proving to be difficult to find a house.
This week was pretty normal. We found some cool people. We have some cool investigators. This lady named Joemi is super cool. Her and her family love the church so that’s cool. The thing about the mission is like you don’t actually do anything like activity wise. We just work all day and do the same tomorrow. That’s why it’s sweet because you are always helping people to progress and find the true church so it’s sweet and satisfying and entertaining even though nothing really happens but it’s always good.
We get up and study, go work, eat lunch—which is super good now she gives us big fried fishes and all and then we go work until like 9:30 and then plan and go to bed and do it again even though it’s super ritual its pretty sweet and I have a good time doing it. It is awfully hard to write about because there isn’t much one can write.
One funny thing this week was I was cleaning my ears with a cheap Nica Q-tip and the cotton part came off in my ear and was stuck there for more than an hour until I was able to fish it out with the plastic straw part of the Q-tip. I cut it to have little snags and then I twisted it in my ear to catch up the cotton. I finally pulled it out but that was literally the only out of the ordinary thing of the week.
Ohh, here they are already getting ready for Christmas. They have put up a couple of big like cones of lights where they have a pole and then they make tons of lights coming down off the top. It’s cool. Last Christmas I was in Juigalpa and that is a poor place so they really did almost nothing for Christmas. Some people had some lights but here I’ve already been hearing Christmas music in homes as we walk by. And then there are those big light cones. I’ll have to send a picture some time.
The mission is going good. This month should be good. We have some cool investigators and God is blessing us to find new ones. So the mission is sweet. The church is true and we are doing good here. I feel obligated to fill the rest of this gage but I honestly don’t know with what to fill it.
I love you all tons. Peace and Love,
Z
