What up family. This week was chill. This week we ate even more turtle and I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten like everything of a turtle. Last time they also gave us lung to eat. It’s actually good.
This week went good. They called on Tuesday morning and said that we had to go to Juigalpa for zone meeting so we just send one person from each companionship. This time it was my turn and Hoffman’s so we got on the boat at 3 and then the bus and we got to Juigalpa. Zone meeting was chill. We finally got materials for the last weeks we haven’t had books of Mormon and also lesson 1 pamphlets so we got all of that.
Working in Juigalpa was chill I got to see my converts. Funny thing is all the elders in both areas eat lunch at the houses of my converts so that’s dope. They are cool and doing good. Then also working I ran into an old investigator even though I wasn’t even in my old area so it’s chill going back through Juigalpa and seeing everyone. The next day Saturday we left early in the morning and came back to Blue Fields and then we had a baptism of a girl named Wendy. She is the daughter of this family we are teaching. The dad of the family is super positive and loves the church and the only reason they didn’t get baptized with her is because we have to get papers from Managua for them and then we have to file a divorce and then marry them so a lot of work but they are super cool. The father even came to the Christmas devotional so that was good.
To go we had to have 4 investigators. So Ronald came and then we committed some less actives who hadn’t been to church in like 5 or 6 years and they went and brought a friend we committed. But we were still short by 2. They said that it started at 6 so we showed up at 6 to help our investigators and all but it turns out that it actually didn’t start until 7 so we went over to the park. They put up lights in the park and so there are lots of people in the park. So my companion is calling our investigators to see if we could get them to come and I was talking to every couple I could find. And then I realized that I should say a prayer to find someone positive that would like to go and hear our message. So I said a prayer and a couple with a little baby caught my eye way on the other said of the park. I went all the way over and talked to them and invited them and they went and really enjoyed it. I love to see the Lord’s hand in the work. It’s super neat.
Well Peace and Love,
Z
